Zakat al-fitr

A Muslim does not cease worship as Allah Subhanahu wa taala says

” So when you have finished [your duties], then stand up [for worship].
So when you have finished [your duties], then stand up [for optional worship]”.
Therefore one should always worship Allah throughout the years
Not only in one month
As for Zakat El Fitr
Scholars say, it may be given as money or food including Bukhari and Awzaai..

—–What is Zakat El Fitr??

Before the Eid al-Fitr prayer at the end of Ramadan
every adult Muslim who possesses food in excess of their needs must pay zakat al-fitr (fatra)
The head of household can also pay zakat al-fitr for their dependants such as children, servants and any dependent relatives

Zakat al-Fitr is paid by the head of the household for each member of the family before Eid al-Fitr prayer

1.1) What is the purpose of Zakat Al Fitr
👉 to satisfy the needy and the poor prevent them from begging on Eid day
To make them feel Cooperation and support by the rich

ZAKAT AL-FITR AMOUNT
Zakat al-Fitr can be paid during Ramadan, before Eid al-Fitr prayers at the latest, so that the poor can enjoy the day of Eid.
The minimum amount due is the equivalent of about 2 kg of wheat flour, rice or other staple foodstuff, per member of the household, including dependants, even if they do not live in the same house. Approximately £5/US$7 per head is a safe estimated amount.

The total amount of Zakat al-Fitr is equivalent to four Amdad. A mudd is the amount of food that can fit in your hands when you cup them together to scoop food.

Zakat al-Fitr is about the price of one meal

3. 🍁🏵How is it paid??
✏It is paid in two ways
* supplying staple foods to the community
* In monetary terms in order to purchase the necessary staple foods
* 👉🏻Prophet Muhammad asked Muad to take seeds from seed, sheep from sheep and cows from cow

🖊The charity giver pays for himself/herself and on behalf of all of his/her dependents.

4. Who is to receive it?
The recipients are the poor , the needy even in one’s relatives whom are not his dependents
