Dua during the funeral prayer of a child

🌼After seeking forgiveness for the deceased, one can say:

O Allah, make him a preceding reward and a stored treasure for his parents, and an answered intercessor. O Allah, by virtue of his death, make heavy his parents scales and magnify their reward. Unite him with the righteous believers, place him under the care of Ibrahim (peace be upon him), and protect him by Your mercy from the torment of Hell.

🚦Note: This supplication is made when the deceased is a baby/child (i.e. who hasn’t reached puberty).

🌊Transliteration

⚘[For a male]

allaahumm-aj‛alhu faraṭan wa dhukhran li waalidayhi wa shafee‛an mujaab-an, allaahumma thaqqil bihi mawaazeenahumaa, wa a‛ẓim bihi ujoorahumaa, wa alḥiqhu bi ṣaaliḥil-mu’mineena, wa j‛alhu fee kafaalati ibraaheema, wa qihi bi raḥmatika ‛adhaab-al-jaḥeem
