Dear Quranists how can you explain the following in Quran without Sunnah
And what struck you on the day the two armies met was by permission of Allah that He might make evident the [true] believers. [Qur’an 3:166
What two armies? And on what day? What happened that day exactly? Where is this information in the Qur’an? It isn’t there but it is in hadiths.
has already given you victory in many regions and [even] on the day of Hunayn, when your great number pleased you, but it did not avail you at all, and the earth was confining for you with its vastness; then you turned back, fleeing. [Qur’an 9:25]
What is Allah speaking about here? What is the Day of Hunayn and its victory? What exactly happened on that day? You cannot provide any of these details from the Qur’an
you do not aid the Prophet – Allah has already aided him when those who disbelieved had driven him out as one of two, when they were in the cave and he said to his companion, “Do not grieve; indeed Allah is with us.” [Qur’an 9:40]
Those who disbelieved had driven him out of where? What cave were they in and how did they get there? Who was his companion in the cave? None of this information is provided in the Qur’an but is available in hadiths
After we show such evidence they will resort to terms like
red herring fallacies. 😁👊
Or they will say what’s the benefit of knowing tafseer today
No God-fearing Muslim would ever hold such a repulsive belief.
Knowledge of support of Angels
“Allah had given you victory at Badr, when you were weak. So fear Allah, that you may be thankful. When you said to the believers, “Is it not enough for you that your Lord has reinforced you with three thousand angels, sent down?” It is; but if you persevere and remain cautious, and they attack you suddenly, your Lord will reinforce you with five thousand angels, well trained. Allah made it but a message of hope for you, and to reassure your hearts thereby. Victory comes only from Allah the Almighty, the Wise.” (Qur’an 3:123-126)
How did the Messenger (saw) know Allah would support the believers in the battle with angels? There is no verse in the Quran where Allah states this. Additional revelation is the only explanation.
Obedience to the Messenger (sallallaahu alayhi wa sallam )
is not limited to the Qur’an. The Quranist position is false as it limits revelation to the Qur’an, which is a contradiction with the Qur’an itself
This can be formulated as a deductive argument:
If the Messenger sallallaahu alayhi wa sallam
received revelation apart from the Qur’an, then the Qur’an only position is false.
The Messenger received revelation apart from the Qur’an (2:143, 3:123-126, 8:9-10, 33:37, 66:3 etc).
Therefore, the Quranist position is false.
Abu Zahra in his fascinating book entitled
The Four Imams: Their Lives, Works, and Schools of Jurisprudence
gives a great response to one of Quranists’ main arguments. He says:
“How can it be said that the Qur’an is clear when it needs to be elucidated by the Sunna?
The answer is that the clarity of the Qur’an is universal and not partial, general and not detailed, and the Sunna fleshes out the details of the generality of the Qur’an. The knowledge of the particular is only achieved through the Messenger.” (pg. 373
You are debunked by this
Proof that Sunnah is a second revelation after Quran
🚩The Prophet (ﷺ) said: Beware! I have been given the Qur’an and something like it, yet the time is coming when a man replete on his couch will say: Keep to the Qur’an; what you find in it to be permissible treat as permissible, and what you find in it to be prohibited treat as prohibited. Beware! The domestic ass, beasts of prey with fangs
By this, in Islam We have 2 revelations not only Quran but Quran and Sunnah and debunked are Quranists
Just ask em 70% of 👉Islam is not mentioned in Quran
👉Salah Rakaats how many per Salah?
👉Hajj rituals how to do them?
👉Adan invocations what to say?
Drum bells 🔔 what to use??? Like church!!???
The halal and haram what and what not eat
How to know that these are haram or halal???
Are you saying Allah forgot all these or left them unspoken
If you do you would be kafir which you are already
Quranist live without guidance full stop
Prophet Muhammad is the last prophet and prophecised the appearance of people who don’t believe in Sunnah
Quran and Sunnah are complementary
No Quran without Sunnah
This is a very dangerous hadeeth for Quranist movement to know
Read it with the eyes of insight
The prophet warned us against them in a hadith:
🚩“Soon there will come a time that a man will be reclining on his pillow, and when one of my hadiths is narrated he will say: ‘The Book of Allah is (sufficient) between us and you. Whatever it states is permissible, we will take as permissible, and whatever it states is forbidden, we will take as forbidden.’ Verily, whatever the Messenger of Allah has forbidden is like that which Allah has forbidden.” (Reported by Ahmad, Abu Daawood, Ibn Maajah and at-Tirmidhee, who declared it hasan. Al-Albaanee declared it saheeh in Saheehul-Jaami’ (no.8186))
The Prophet (ﷺ) said: Beware!
But problem is they won’t listen because they don’t believe in Sunnah
therefore most dangerous thing is to avoid believing in sunnah
As for the obligation to follow him and obey his Sunnah and follow his guidance, Allah says, “Say: if you love Allah, follow me and He will love you and forgive you your wrong actions.” [Al-Qur’an 3:31]
🚩”Believe in Allah and His Messenger, the unlettered Prophet who believes in Allah and His words. Follow him, perhaps you will be guided.”
🚩”No, by your Lord, they will not believe until they ask you to judge between them in what they disagree about and then they shall find in themselves no impediment touching your verdict, but shall surrender in full submission.” [Al-Qur’an 4:64] i.e. obey your judgement.
🚩And We revealed to you [O Muhammad] the message [Qur’an] that you may make clear to the people what was sent down to them and that they might give thought. [Qur’an 16:44]
🚩He who obeys the Messenger has obeyed Allah ; but those who turn away – We have not sent you over them as a guardian. [Qur’an 4:80
So Allah in this verses as you can see urges us to believe in what prophet came with
What does it entail when a person says “Muhammadun Rasulullah”?
As for the declaration, “muhammadun rasool ullaa,” its meaning is the assertion of the message of Mohammed (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and to believe in it and to adhere to it by speech, action and faith, and to avoid all that is against it, whether it be sayings, actions, or intentions… In other words, obeying him in what he ordered and believing in what he said and relayed and avoiding what he has forbid and denounced and not worshipping Allah except as he has ordained.
(May the peace and blessings of Allah be upon our prophet Muhammad and upon his families and companions)
👉🏻Short electric shocking shock to Quranists
Sunnah mentions excrement is haram to eat. Over to you Hadeeth rejecters !!!
👉🏻Do you eat 💩💩 and venum because Quran doesn’t prohibit them in detail lol??!!
It’s a remarkably remark that merits marking
The Prophet (ﷺ) went out to answer the call of nature and asked me to bring three stones. I found two stones and searched for the third but could not find it. So took a dried piece of dung and brought it to him. He took the two stones and 👉🏻threw away the dung and said, 👉🏻”This is a filthy thing.”
▪︎Sahih al-Bukhari 156
👇🏻We don’t eat donkey because it eats its excrement therefore both are Haram
🚩Allah and His Messenger forbid you to eat the flesh of domesticated donkeys, for it is filthy in another narration👉🏻 [for it eats excrement]
Vol. 4, Book 27, Hadith 3196
Dung is filthy
If you still dispute and argue then this Ayah applies to you
8:6) Disputing with you concerning the truth after it was made manifest, as if they were being driven to death, while they were looking (at it)
We tell you:( shia or Quranists)
“It is not fitting for a man that Allah should speak to him except by inspiration, or from behind a veil, or by the sending of a messenger to reveal, with Allah’s permission, what Allah wills: for He is Most High, Most Wise. “
We tell Quranists
Is dog halal or haram to eat
How about home donkey
Not Zebra because Prophet and Sahaba ate from it
on the Day of Khaibar, the Prophet of Allah forbade eating any birds with talons and any predators with fangs.
Sunan an-Nasa’i 4348
🚩Allah and His Messenger forbid you to eat the flesh of domesticated donkeys, for it is filthy in another narration [for it eats excrement]
Vol. 4, Book 27, Hadith 3196
🚩We used to eat the meat of horses.” I said: “And mules?” He said: “No.”
🏴Sunan Ibn Majah Kitab Dabaih
Vol. 4, Book 27, Hadith 3197
Who said silver is halal for men and women
Who said gold is halal for women haram for men
Who said silk is halal for women haram for men
👆👆confusing to Quranists!
⚬Who prohibited dogs, home donkeys, eagles, wolves, lions, foxes all that have prew or claws?
⚪a who made horses, zebras etc halal?
🏳💯Prophet Muhammad of course
Iam talking bout Asr prayer and Fajr
I asked a Quranist Shia American woman why do you pray 2 Rakaats at Fajr
Dog lion fox eagle etc haram
Gold for women halal
For women halal
Silver halal for both genders
Home donkey haram
Number of salats 5 per day
WHO LEGISLATED ALL THIS
(5:90) O you who have believed, indeed, intoxicants, gambling, [sacrificing on] stone alters [to other than Allah], and divining arrows are but defilement from the work of Satan, so avoid it that you may be successful.
Every intoxicant is forbidden. He who drinks wine in this world, and dies when he is addiction to it, will not drink it in the next.
The Prophet (ﷺ) said: If a large amount of anything causes intoxication, a small amount of it is prohibited.
Hasan Sahih (Al-Albani
Repent to your Lord Allah!!
Bro. It’s high time you repented to your Ilah and follow the way of believers (Sahaba…) because Allah says
And anyone who contradicts and opposes the Messenger, after the way of guidance has been clearly shown to him
and follows other than the believers way (of life),
We shall leave him in the way which he has chosen
and We shall throw him in the Hell and what an evil destination it will be.
Do you find in Quran that It is Haram to marry and gather (in marriage) between a daughter and her paternal aunt?
And a daughter and her maternal aunt ?
ONLY HADEETH STATED THAT
“The Messenger of Allah prohibited that a woman be married along with her paternal aunt, or the paternal aunt along with her brother’s daughter, or a woman with her maternal aunt, or the maternal aunt along with her sister’s daughter, and the younger is not to be married with the older, nor the older with the younger.”
Ref: Jami` at-Tirmidhi 1126
Do you find in Quran the prohibition of marriage between a man and the granddaughter of his sister in Quran
How about the prohibition of dog and and lion?
Why do we eat spleen and liver even if they are blood. Isn’t blood made prohibited in Quran??
Why do we eat fish and locusts in Islam?
Aren’t carrion (dead meat) haram in Quran?
How about the details of Salat Tashahhud and number of Rakaats in Asr Maghrib etc..
How about camel being halal but not Elephant
How about Zebra being halal but not home donkey
Can you find these in Quran?
How about the invocations of Adam
How about the invocations of hajj 8and its ritual details
Do you find in Quran that It is Haram to marry a daughter and her paternal aunt
And a daughter and her maternal aunt.
The Messenger of Allah prohibited that a woman be married along with her paternal aunt, or the paternal aunt along with her brother’s daughter, or a woman with her maternal aunt, or the maternal aunt along with her sister’s daughter, and the younger is not to be married with the older, nor the older with the younger.”
Jami` at-Tirmidhi 1126
because of being far from Sunnah that simplifies it for you (Animals with fangs and claws are haram)
You say all the animals used for travelling are haram then you said Elephants are haram
Why didn’t Allah mention Elephants in the Ayah of animals of travelling
This means you are of less cultural first bc people use Elephants for travelling
Second this is paradoxical
How could an elephant be haram and camels no while both aren’t mentioned in the Ayah in Surat Nahl
Camel is not mentioned in the Ayah of animals used for travelling
Does this mean if we use an elephant and lion for travelling are they halal?!
Does this mean all the ones not used for travelling are halal ??
You say carnivores and omnivores are haram
Does a home dog eat other animals?
You contradict yourself a lot
You failed when you say
“There is no prohibition of any sort to the dog in the entire Quran”
Then when some asked you:
do you eat dog?
Where is mentioned in Quran that dogs, lions, gorillas, elephants, rats are forbidden
Do you eat them😳
As for Salats “And glorify Allah” in Quran may mean Salat and Tasbeeh two in Arabic language therefore from whom you take such interpretations!!!
Thus Anyone can come up to play and say whatever he likes without Sunnah
In Quran only 3 Salats are mentioned and Sunnah adds specifies and abrogates too.
Enough with your self ideas🙄
Personal interpretation of the Quran is Kufr – to your knowledge-
Now over to you
How many Rakaats you pray in Asr bc Allah says bow with the ones who bow
*Where is it mentioned in Quran that poison and homosexuality are haram?
Where is it -litterally unambiguously- mentioned in Quran that wine , donkey and dog are haram ??
Still waiting for their goddot answers
(4:115) And whoever opposes the Messenger after guidance has become clear to him and follows other than the way of the believers – We will give him what he has taken and drive him into Hell, and evil it is as a destination.
You say Quran is enough???
I will answer
**how can you establish the prayer which Allah (may He be exalted) enjoined upon him in His holy Book?
**What are the numbers of the prayers?
**What are the times of the prayers?
**What are the conditions of them being valid?
**What invalidates the prayer? And you may ask similar questions about zakaah
How about fasting, Hajj and all the other rituals and laws of Islam.
**Number of Rakaats. You can’t answer
How will he apply the words of Allah??
(may He be glorified and exalted)
“Cut off the hand of the thief, male or female, as a recompense for that which they committed, a punishment by way of example from Allah. And Allah is All-Powerful, All-Wise” [al-Maa’idah 5:38]
**What is the minimum value of wealth that defines theft?
**From where should the hand be cut off?
**Cut all the arm???
**Is it the right hand or the left hand?
**What are the conditions to be met with regard to the stolen item?
**And you may ask similar questions about the hadd punishments for zina (fornication or adultery)
slander, li‘aan and so on. Not to forget about Hayd menstruation period’ and Istihada rulings
Sunnah, in relation to the Book of Allah, falls into three categories:
That which is in agreement with and states the same as that which is stated in the revealed Book
That which explains the Book and clarifies what Allah meant thereby, restricting that which is mentioned in broad terms
that which contains a ruling that is not mentioned in the Book, so it explains and introduces something new.
It is not permissible to deny any of these three categories, and there is no fourth category of the Sunnah in relation to the Book of Allah.
Imam Ahmad objected to those who said that “The Sunnah may overrule the Book” and he said: Rather the Sunnah explains and clarifies the Book.
Ask yourself why do Muslims eat liver and spleen thou they are blood
Why we eat fish and Locust though eaten as dead
Forbidden to you (for food) are: Al-Maytatah (the dead animals – cattle-beast not slaughtered), blood…”
The hadith explains that “dead meat” [that which is not slaughtered in the prescribed manner] of locusts and fish, and liver and spleen, which come under the category of blood, are halaal.
The Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) said: “Two types of dead meat and two types of blood have been made permissible to us: locusts and fish (of all types), and liver and spleen.”
●Narrated by al-Bayhaqi and others..
But the Sunnah prohibits some things that are not mentioned in this verse, such as when the Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) said:
“Every wild animal that has fangs, and every bird that has talons, is haraam.
And there are other hadiths that prohibit certain foods
such as when the Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) said on the day of Khaybar:
“Verily Allah and His Messenger forbid you to eat the flesh of tame donkeys, for it is an abomination.”
●Narrated by al-Bukhaari and Muslim.
Say (O Muhammad (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him)): “Who has forbidden the adornment with clothes given by Allah, which He has produced for his slaves, and At-Taiyibat (all kinds of Halal (lawful) things) of food?”
Here too the hadith explains that there are some kinds of adornment that are prohibited. It is proven that the Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) came out to his Companions one day with a piece of silk in one hand and a piece of gold in the other, and he said: “These two are prohibited for the males of my ummah but they are permissible for the females.” Narrated and classed as saheeh by al-Haakim..
By abandoning the sunnah, they ignore the Quranic commandments
You should accept whatever the Messenger gives you and abandon whatever he tells you to abandon. Have taqwa of Allah… (Surat al-Hashr: 7)
When Allah and His Messenger have decided something, no believing man or woman has a choice about [following or not following] it. Anyone who disobeys Allah and His Messenger is clearly misguided. (Surat al-Ahzab: 36)
The loss of the religion starts with the abandonment of the Sunnah. Just as a rope breaks fiber by fiber, so does religion vanish with one by one abandoning the Sunnah.” (al-Darimi)
“Whoever obeys the Messenger has obeyed Allah.” (Surat an-Nisa`: 80)
After our discussion with all Quranists
We discovered that they are
In a nutshell
Bc none of the above is haram in Quran only in Sunnah
They also say rabbit and chicken and fish is haram bc they are not in Quran
🗣Quran without Sunnah is Kufr
🗣 Sunnah without Quran is Kufr too
🗣🗣both is called Iman
If you refuse, tell me why Muslims don’t eat dog, donkey and eat bunny and chicken???
They are not mentioned in Quran at all
How many Rakaats to pray in Asr?
No athar of all that in Quran
Now it’s you who accuse Quran to be incomplete not us
Bc you are implicitly saying Allah forgot to mention all other things that are mentioned only in Sunnah
Astaghfirullah Allah never forgets!!!!
He can mention everything in Quran but Quranic superpowerful eloquence does without mentioning everything
QURAN IS GENERAL
SUNNAH IS SPECIFIC
Our live Debate with a Quranist Imam
The Obligation to Obey him, our Beloved Prophetﷺ.
[Many Muslims declare that they will only adhere to what’s revealed in the Holy Qur’an, and not pay any mind to any *man-made* ahadith, as they say. But what is failed to be recognized, is the instruction of Allāh Ta’ala IN THE QUR’AN, in many Ayât, to listen to and obey His Messenger (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). It is required of us as believers of The One Almighty and His final messenger (peace and blessings of Allāh be upon him) and the Day of Judgement, to obey what our Beloved (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said and did.]
As for the obligation to obey the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allāh be upon him), belief in him demands it. Confirmation of what he brought to us requires obedience to him because this is part of what he brought:
⚫ Allāh says, “O you who believe, obey Allah and His Messenger..”
⚫ “Say: obey Allāh and obey the Messenger … ” [Al-Qur’an 24:54]
⚫ He says, “Obey Allah and the Messenger and perhaps you will be shown mercy.” [Al-Qur’an 3:132]
⚫ “If you obey him, you will be guided..” [Al-Qur’an 24:54]
⚫ “Whoever obeys the Messenger has obeyed Allah..” [Al-Qur’an 4:79]
⚫ “Take that what the Messenger brings you and leave what he forbids you..” [Al-Qur’an 59:7]
⚫ “Whoever obeys Allāh and the Messenger is with those whom Allāh has blessed.” [Al-Qur’an 4:68]
⚫ “We did not send any Messenger but for him to be obeyed by the permission of Allāh.” [Al-Qur’an 4:63]
Almighty Allāh made obeying His Messenger(ﷺ) tantamount to obeying Himself, and He placed obedience to Himself alongside obedience to His Messenger (ﷺ). Allāh promises that doing this will result in an abundant reward and threatens a severe punishment for opposing it. He made it obligatory to obey the things that the Prophet(ﷺ)commanded and to avoid those he prohibited.
The commentators and Imams have said that obeying the Messenger(ﷺ) means to cling to his Sunnah and submit to what he brought to us. They said that Allāh the Almighty did not send a Messenger(ﷺ) without obliging those to whom he was sent to obey him and that obeying the Messenger(ﷺ) in his Sunnah is equivalent to obeying Allah in His obligations.
Sahl at-Tustari was asked about the Shari’ah of Islam and he quoted, “Take what the Messenger brings you.” [Al-Qur’an 59:7]
Abu Salamah ibn ‘Abdur-Rahman heard Abu Hurayrah say that the Messenger of Allah said:
“Whoever obeys me has obeyed Allāh. Whoever rebels against me has rebelled against Allāh. Whoever obeys my Amir has obeyed me. Whoever rebels against my Amir has disobeyed me.”
[sahih Muslim and Al-Bukhari]
Obeying the Messenger(ﷺ) is part of obeying Almighty Allāh, since Allāhcommands that he be obeyed. True obedience is obedience to Allāh’s command and therefore obedience to His Prophet(ﷺ) .
Allāh talks about the unbelievers in the depths of the Fire saying, “On the day when their faces are turned over in the Fire, they will say, ‘Would that we had obeyed Allāh and that we had obeyed the Messenger.’ ” [Al-Qur’an 33:66] They will wish they had obeyed, when the wish will not profit them.
“When I forbid you to do something, avoid it. When I command you to do something, then do it as much as you are able.”
[sahih Muslim and Al-Bukhari]
In the hadith of Abu Hurayrah we find that the Prophet(ﷺ)said,
“All of my community will enter the Garden except for those who refuse to.” They asked, “O Messenger of Allāh, who will refuse?” He replied, “Whoever obeys me will enter the Garden. Whoever rebels against me has refused.” [Al-Hakim]
